The partnership is a model example of the work ResCare is doing nationwide to engage entire communities in curbing unemployment rates.

Each segment features a Job of the Day, followed by a job searching tip from ResCare Workforces Services Business Services Consultant John Korusek and other staff members. Topics include resume optimization, top summer jobs for teens, social media, networking and the hidden job market.

In a recent segment on breaking into the hidden job market – the millions of job openings that never get formally posted and now account for up to 80 percent of hires1, Mr. Korusek said, “Spend time with neighbors and coworkers, in meetings, in trainings with organizations – one on one, one at a time.
