NATIONWIDE (September 23, 2013) — ResCare’s Regional Director of Quality Assurance Jennifer Lopez was elected as Vice President for the Texas Association of Home Care and Hospice (TAHCH) board of directors at their Annual Meeting and Convention in Dallas, Texas.
Ms. Lopez has dedicated her home care expertise to ResCare since 2003 and has been involved with the association for over 20 years. She has served on several of the association’s committees, including Community Care, Clinical Practice, Medicaid and the Membership Committee. Her involvement in association committees made it clear that she was more than qualified to serve on the Board of Directors.
ResCare HomeCare is one of the largest providers of in-home services in the Southwest Plains region. Her new appointment to the Board of Directors of the Texas Association of Home Care and Hospice will provide state-wide exposure for ResCare HomeCare’s services while also helping the company to influence and overcome obstacles in the home care field.
The Texas Association of Home Care and Hospice strives to help elderly Texans remain independent. No matter the situation, both the association and ResCare HomeCare share the same commitment to every individual who needs quality, affordable home care service.
“The association has been a pillar in high quality training that is always relevant to the very progressive home care environment,” Ms. Lopez said. “I am grateful and humbled by the opportunity to represent ResCare in the association and will work to always keep the mission of the highest quality care for all of the people we serve as my guiding principle.”
