ResCare HomeCare = Best of Burke County in Home Care for 2013

ResCare HomeCare in Waynesboro was featured in The True Citizen newspaper as being the Best of Burke County in Home Care for 2013.

WAYNESBORO, GA (November 4, 2013) — Burke County has spoken. This year, the local newspaper The True Citizen recognized ResCare HomeCare of Waynesboro for their incomparable service. Over 1,000 people voted and ResCare HomeCare came out on top as the Best of Burke County in Home Care for 2013.

The newspaper asked people in the community to participate in nominating the best local businesses.

“We were pleasantly surprised when we received a call from the editor of the paper to congratulate us and set up a time for a photo,” Clinical Supervisor Dana Jones said.

ResCare HomeCare employees in Waynesboro are dedicated to providing quality services to meet the needs of the people they support.

“We have some direct care staff who have been with us for over 20 years,” Ms. Jones said.

ResCare HomeCare’s care for others doesn’t end in the home. Staff regularly participates in community service events around the county. Health awareness walks and fairs, blood pressure checks at senior centers and providing school supplies and toys for children in need are just a few examples of the many ways that the branch is actively involved in the community.

“They are a great team!” Executive Director Marty Hemphill said. “They have worked very hard to achieve this honor.”
