ResCare’s Youth and Children Services are dedicated to young people with emotional and behavioral issues or other special needs as well as juveniles in the justice system. Services are provided through residential treatment facilities, group homes, and foster care settings. We offer intense supports designed to teach young people strategies for independent living as well as social and academic skills. The goal is to return the children to their home environments or to alternative environments where they may lead productive lives. Our continuum of services to youth incorporates intermediate residential care, foster care, a wilderness program, an emergency shelter, and a sexual offender program.
ResCare supports many young adults and children through services such as therapeutic foster care, highly secure placements, sexual offender programs, emergency shelters, and academic and vocational development.
Our foster and treatment programs include services for young people with emotional and behavioral issues or other special needs as well as juveniles in the justice system. We want children who are in our care to return to an environment where they can be happy and lead productive lives, whether that environment is back home with their families or in a stable alternative placement.
ResCare provides life-changing programs that help prepare young people ages 14-21 to obtain meaningful and gainful employment. Working in cooperation with local partners, we reach out to court-involved youth, disabled youth, high school drop-outs, non-English-speakers, pregnant and parenting teens, youngsters deficient in basic literacy skills and other young people who are facing challenges – providing academic and vocational development solutions that give each individual a chance at success and a self-sufficient lifestyle.
