ISO 9000

As a public company we must build public trust, and when corporations make promises there should be a way they can be tested. One widely accepted test is a set of international standards that measures quality management and quality assurance known as ISO standards. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a specialized international agency cooperating with the national standards bodies of 91 countries. ResCare is committed to implementing ISO 9000 standards throughout its organization. Beginning with our Education and Training Services side (Arbor E&T), we are testing each service line to ensure compliance with ISO 9000 standards. In 2004, Arbor earned ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification. No matter what field of industry, or nation on Earth, ISO-9000 says, “This is how quality should be measured.” Companies around the globe pick up the ISO book when they want to ensure that they’re keeping their promises to their customers. The focus of the ISO standards is simple: say what you do, do what you say, prove it and then improve it.
