ResCare UK Operations Re-Branded

LOUISVILLE, KY (November 4, 2008) - ResCare (NASDAQ: RSCR), the United States' leading provider of residential, training, therapeutic, educational and support services for people with barriers to employment and special needs, announced today that it is re-branding its operations in the United Kingdom to better reflect expansion and diversification plans in the UK. In late 2007, ResCare purchased the workforce service operations of Biscom Resource Management Limited, a United Kingdom company with six locations in the UK and a private provider of government funded job reintegration services that include job training and job placement assistance. The business will now operate as PeopleServe and will provide educational and vocational training, job placements and workforce services in the UK with a particular focus on responding to developments in public service markets, including welfare reform.
