When a co-worker became ill, the staff at Salem Villages pulled together, picking up shifts for the employee, sticking by her side and providing care as her illness progressed. One of the staff members even took the ill employee into her home to provide her with better care. The staff helped with everyday activities and contributed time and money when they could.

Unfortunately, the employee passed away. "She touched so many hearts, but the care that was poured out to her by her co-workers was beyond comprehension."
