Allen Smith

Residential Support Specialist Allen Smith "again and again looks outside his job description for ways to better the lives of those he supports."

Mr. Smith recently performed the Heimlich maneuver to save the life of an individual he supports. He works extra hours to make sure the individual has staff support at all times, while still maintaining the individual's sense of independence.

Mr. Smith also gave up Thanksgiving with his family this year to travel to Hawaii with an individual he supports, "fulfilling a life-long goal for this client to see the island of his dreams."
