ResCare Workforce Services is synonymous with providing world class workforce development services for employers and their future employees throughout the country. With four decades of experience, ResCare Workforce Services manages programs for diverse job seekers including incumbent workers, dislocated workers, returning veterans, welfare recipients, and young adults. A cornerstone of ResCare-operated programs is innovative relationships with local and national businesses.
The ResCare Workforce Service team provides information, linkages, and customized services connecting employers to ResCare’s local career programs and job-ready graduates. In more than 270 locations, ResCare’s diverse programs - including Workforce Services, Human Services, Youth Services, and Job Corps Centers - provide a wide range of benefits to both large and small employers.
ResCare is the country’s largest provider of services that connect job seekers to employers and visa versa. In one facility, and free of charge, an employer can use a One-Stop Career Center for essential services including recruitment and screening of potential employees, training, job fairs, and more. ResCare’s youth programs prepare young adults for career success with personalized work readiness training, cutting-edge on-line resources, and myriad services that are customized to meet the community’s workforce needs.
Through ResCare’s operation of Job Corps centers, employers have access to the nation’s largest and most comprehensive residential job training program for young adults between the ages 16 and 24. Since 1975, ResCare has operated Job Corps centers that provide career technical training in healthcare, construction, business and finance, information technology, hospitality, and more for over 7,500 youth each year. Each Job Corps center has an Industry Advisory Council comprised of employers who ensure that training and curricula meet industry standards and labor market needs. Local employers can “test drive” Job Corps graduates through internships before offering employment.
