Disability Services

ResCare is the nation’s largest provider of disability services, helping people of all ages with cognitive, intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities to grow, develop and enhance the quality of their lives. With a focus on choice and self-direction, ResCare offers individuals, families and guardians supports in a variety of settings including people’s homes, supported living arrangements, group homes and vocational and day habilitation programs.
ResCare disabilities services include:

• Group homes offering extensive staff support
• Supported living services customized to the needs of one to a few people living in a house or apartment
• Drop-in or in-home services including help with activities such as personal care or housekeeping for people who are living independently or with their families
• Support services provided through Rest Assured^®, a ResCare company that uses state-of-the-art Web-based technology, to connect individuals with caring professionals in the comfort of their own home and help individuals live independently while safeguarding their safety and privacy.
• Foster or companion care for people living with individuals or families to whom they are not related
• Vocational and habilitation services including classes for learning life and job skills as well as support for individuals who are trying to find and hold jobs

ResCare has nearly 30 years of experience in the disability services field. Our expertise, staff training and quality assurance programs support the thousands of employees who help people with disabilities to strive for their greatest potential every day. Most of the services provided by ResCare are paid for through Medicaid and/or individual state waivers.
